Current research focuses on testing a type 2 diabetes prevention program among college students, examining youth's mental health and health care transition, testing a social determinant of health screening and referral program for families with youth with type 1 diabetes, and other research.
Past research focused on understanding health care transition and health promotion among youth with type 1 diabetes, evaluating an intervention designed to assist parents in preparing their youth with type 1 diabetes for health care transition, assessing long-term effects of COVID-19 infection, etc.
